Andrew Kodis, the managing director of Sabic's corporate venturing unit, is leaving the company to take the reins as chief executive of Black Diamond Structures.

Andrew Kodis has left Sabic Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of chemicals and materials producer Sabic, to join one of its portfolio companies, nanomaterials developer Black Diamond Structures, as CEO.

US-based Black Diamond functions as a joint venture between Sabic and carbon nanotube producer Molecular Rebar Design to develop and manufacture products based on Molecular Rebar’s technology.
