Disney's Steamboat Ventures joins consortium investing $7.5m in Think Passenger.

Think Passenger, a US-based developer of social networks for companies, has raised $7.5m in its fourth round that includes media group Disney’s corporate venturing fund.

The investors were Disney’s Steamboat Ventures, venture capital firms Shelter Capital Partners and StarVest Partners and angel investor Bahram Nour-Omid.

Nour-Omid, who is also a partner at Shelter and previously an executive at Scopus Technology and StudioXchange, has been promoted to Passenger’s chief executive with incumbent Steve Howe becoming chairman.
