Several corporates took part in SonoThera’s $60.8m series A round while NEC closed its Orchestrating Future Fund at $140m.

Japan-based IT services firm NEC Corporation’s NEC Orchestrating Future Fund has reached a $140m final close. The fund has contributions from corporate backers NTT Finance Corporation, Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank as well as Japan Industrial Partners and Fund Corporation for the Overseas Development of Japan’s ICT and Postal Services.
