Sharing experiences and knowledge is the core of the Corven Networks approach, so we were delighted to organise the roundtables and capture those insights at Power Brokers, the third annual Global Corporate Venturing Symposium. The 18 roundtables over the two days of the symposium covered a range of issues, from deal structuring to getting value from being a limited partner (LP – investor) in a fund, and from finding an exit to many other topics at the heart of managing corporate venturing (CV) units and various sector-specific roundtables. This article outlines just some of the thoughts of contributors, primarily from two roundtables – starting a venturing programme, and developing a CV team. Go to page 20 of our July magazine for the full round-up.
