The open source software company raises the latest round, led by Split Rock Partners, another fundraising win for the company taking it to $46m raised in its nine-year history.

Black Duck Software, a US-based open-source software company backed by US-based Linux developer Red Hat and the corporate venturing units of Intel and SAP, raised $12m on Thursday.

The funding round was led by Split Rock Partners and was invested in by existing investors.
