Affirmed Networks, a US-based mobile networking service, has raised $51m in its series C round from a consortium including Germany-based phone operators Vodafone Deutsche Telekom’s (DT) corporate venturing units. 

Alongside Vodafone Ventures and DT’s T-Venture units in the C round were venture capital firms Bessemer Venture Partners, which led, KCK Group, Charles River Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Matrix Partners.

Founded in 2010, Affirmed had announced a $52m round in December when it came out of stealth mode.
