First-mile delivery service Trukita, which had raised under $1m from investors including Astra International, has been bought by Waresix.
Logistics service provider Waresix has paid an undisclosed amount to acquire Trukita, an Indonesia-based freight delivery service backed by diversified conglomerate Astra International, TechCrunch reported yesterday.
Trukita makes use of an extended network of about 10,000 trucks to help manage the delivery of products from ports, where they have been imported, to warehouses where they can be more widely distributed across Indonesia. It will beef up Waresix’s more diversified logistics operation.
