NovaUCD-based patient lingerie manufacturer Theya Healthcare has been backed by investors including Enterprise Ireland as it prepares for expansion in the US.

Theya Healthcare, an Ireland-based healthcare garments manufacturer headquartered at University College Dublin’s entrepreneurship hub, Nova UCD, attracted €665,000 ($750,000) yesterday in a round backed by government-owned enterprise support agency Enterprise Ireland.
The round also included unnamed angel investors.
Founded in 2013, Theya Healthcare designs lingerie for patients undergoing radiotherapy and customers recovering from operations such as breast cancer or cosmetic surgery.
