Timehop, a US-based startup which chronicles a user’s digital content to present them with daily e-mail reminder of their past, secured $1.1m in seed funding on Wednesday. The round was led O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures (OATV), the corporate venturing unit belonging to technology publishing company O’Reilly Media.
Joining OATV in the round were venture capital fund Spark Capital and a number of angel investors including founders Dennis Crowley and Naveen Selvadurai, founders of mobile social networking site FourSquare.
