Wells Fargo chooses startups for Innovation Incubator

Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator's first agriculture technology-themed batch includes startups focused on crop protection, cultured plant cells and automated crop breeding.

Six agriculture technology startups joined the seventh batch of Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator (IN²), the cleantech-focused accelerator sponsored by financial services firm Wells Fargo, yesterday.

Wells Fargo founded IN² in 2014 in partnership with the US Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory. Agtech was added to its remit in 2018 to reflect farming’s carbon footprint.
