Infosys joined anchor investor Temasek to invest in the firm's first fund, which is supporting enterprise and cloud infrastructure startups.

US-based venture capital firm Vertex Ventures has closed its first early-stage fund at $151m having attracted limited partners including IT services firm Infosys, DealStreetAsia reported on Monday.

The anchor investor in the fund is Temasek, the Singaporean state-owned investment fund that already operates a venture capital firm known as Vertex Venture Holdings. Vertex Ventures operates as part of a Vertex Venture Holdings global network that also includes funds in Southeast Asia and India, China and Israel.
