Rakuten Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of internet company Rakuten,has invested $6m in ESTmob, the Korea-based developer of file sharing app Send Anywhere.

Suhyuk Kang, ESTmob co-founder, told news provider TechCrunch in an interview: “We’ve considered other parties [for this round], but [adding] more investors can make it more complicated. Plus, Saemin [Ahn, Rakuten Ventures managing partner] wants to focus more on growth rather than monetization.”
