Motorola Ventures and Qualcomm Ventures have both backed mobile app developer GoTV, which has raised at least $27m in its history.
US-based branded mobile content developer Phunware has acquired US-based competitor GoTV Networks, a mobile media network, for an undisclosed sum.
GoTV had previously received $12m in series B funding from Motorola Ventures, the corporate venturing division of the US-based telecommunications conglomerate prior to its breakup, and Qualcomm Ventures, US-based telecommunication company Qualcomm’s corporate venturing unit, in March 2007.
