Gundeep Kaur is coming in to formalise and accelerate the mergers and acquisitions strategy at the US cloud security company.

Kaur joins Zscaler

Gundeep Kaur has joined US-based cloud security company Zscaler as vice president of corporate development and ventures.

Kaur was previously director of corporate development at Intuit, a US-based software development corporation.

In her new position, she will formalise and accelerate Zscaler’s mergers and acquisitions strategy and work with the company’s product and development teams.

Zscaler is a $26.85bn corporation that has recently acquired a number of startups, including Airgap Networks, a zero-trust isolation platform, and security management company Avalor. ZScaler also invested in identity security startup Oleria, which raised $33m in a series A round this year.

Prior to Intuit, Kaur was senior director of corporate development and acquisition strategy at Salesforce, a US-based cloud-based software company. She also spent two year as principal on the mergers and acquisitions team at Centerview Partners, a US-based investment banking firm.
