Lophius Biosciences, a Germany-based developer of medical diagnostic tests, has raised an undisclosed amount from state and corporate-backed funds.

VRD, a local family office, WIC, S-Refit, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Bayern Kapital and two business angels provided the money.

In July 2011, Lophius raised €1.4m ($2m).
