The data analytics technology developer has now raised $96m altogether, after closing a series C round featuring Sapphire Ventures.

Looker, the US-based developer of an analytics tool for data platforms, has completed a $48m series C round backed by Sapphire Ventures, the venture capital firm spun out of enterprise software firm SAP.

VC firm Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers led the round, which also included Redpoint Ventures and Meritech Capital Partners.
