Search engine optimisation service Botify secured $7.2m in a round featuring corporate-backed Idinvest Partners and VC firm Ventech.

Botify, a France-based web crawler service for search engine optimisation, has raised $7.2m in its series A round from corporate-backed fund manager Idinvest Partners and venture capital firm Ventech, TechCrunch has reported.

Benoist Grossmann, partner at Idinvest, will join Botify’s board along with Claire Houry, partner at Ventech.

Idinvest’s backers include insurance firm Allianz, media company Lagardère Group and recruitment firm Up Group.
