Samsung Ventures, Nokia Growth Partners and NTT’s Docomo Capital have invested alongside venture capital firms Benaroya Capital and Ignition Partners in the $6m series C round, after US-based touchscreen keyboard company Swype had already raised $3.5m in a first close in March.

Swype raised $6.6m in a series B round from investors including Docomo, Nokia Growth Partners and Samsung Ventures. A spokeswoman said the company has raised $14.2m in its history.
