Konotor, which had obtained about $150,000 in funding from backers including Qualcomm and Target, has been acquired by Freshdesk for an undisclosed sum.

Customer service provider Freshdesk has acquired India-based app user engagement company Konotor for an undisclosed sum, providing an exit to mobile semiconductor maker Qualcomm, LiveMint has reported.

Spun out of Demach Software India in 2012, Konotor provides user engagement technology for mobile app developers. It will continue to operate independently, though Freshdesk has said the acquisition will help it to “create powerful customer experiences”.
