MoboTap, a China-based technology company that produces the Dolphin Browser, has raised $10m in its series B round led by US-listed chip maker Qualcomm’s corporate venturing unit. Alongside Qualcomm Ventures in the B round – which had been trailed to be happening in December – were venture capital firms Sequoia Capital and Matrix Partners, which had provided $10m to Dolphin’s A round in July 2011.
