Cisco had agreed to back Jon Sakoda, founder of Decibel and a former GCV Rising Stars award winner.
Decibel Partners, an independent venture capital firm with Cisco as its cornerstone limited partner, has filed to raise$275m for its second fund. Last year, Decibel closed its first fund from 36 foundations, endowments and others alongside Cisco according to its prior filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
