Jubilant Foodworks is providing $12.9m for the barbeque restaurant operator at a valuation of about $115m.
Fast food franchisee Jubilant Foodworks has agreed to invest Rs 920m ($12.6m) in India-based casual dining chain Barbeque Nation Hospitality in return for a 10.9% stake.
Founded in 2006, Barbeque Nation operates 138 barbeque restaurants across India in addition to seven restaurants located internationally. It also manages an Italian cuisine brand called Toscano.
The company had previously received $13.1m from investment firm Alchemy Capital Management in 2018, having collected $20.3m from private equity firm CX Partners five years earlier.
