NFA has hired Matthew Williams, formerly director of market structure and strategic investments at CME Ventures, in a managing director role.

Matthew Williams has left CME Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of futures exchange operator CME Group, and joined non-profit regulatory organisation National Futures Association (NFA) as managing director of technology strategy and execution.

Williams joined CME Group in 2015 as a technology and data product manager before ascending to manager of corporate strategy the next year.
