Apptimize, a US-based developer of optimisation tools for mobile apps, closed a $4m series A round on Tuesday led by venture capital firm Costanoa Venture Capital. Apptimize raised $2.1m in seed funding in January 2014 from a syndicate of 30 investors including Google Ventures, the corporate venturing arm of internet company Google, Merus Capital and XG Ventures.
