Grace Wang is leaving Ohio State University after two years to become president of Worcester Polytechnic Institute.

Grace Wang, executive vice-president of research, innovation and knowledge at Ohio State University (OSU), is moving on to become president of Worcester Polytechnic Institute on March 1, 2023.

Wang joined OSU in late 2020, having previously been the interim president of SUNY Polytechnic Institute, part of State University of New York, for two and a half years.

She had earlier spent four years with State University of New York as vice-chancellor for research and economic development, interim provost and senior vice-chancellor for research and economic development. Before this, she worked for National Science Foundation in various positions.

At OSU, she oversaw the restructuring of the innovation ecosystem into one consolidated unit called Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge in April 2021.
