Partly based on research at University of Washington, KenSci has agreed to an acquisition by Tegria for an undisclosed sum.

KenSci, a US-based predictive healthcare analysis software developer co-founded by a University of Washington professor, has agreed to an acquisition by healthtech company Tegria.
Financial terms were not disclosed. KenSci will continue to serve its current customer base while collaborating with Tegria on combined offerings.
Founded in 2015, KenSci runs an artificial intelligence-equipped cloud-based platform aimed at healthcare providers, payers and medical device manufacturers. The plaform helps clients deliver better patient experiences and more accurate diagnoses.
KenSci raised $22m in a series B round backed by Osage University Partners (OUP) in 2019. The round was led by Polaris Partners and also included safety and regulatory services provider UL’s investment subsidiary, UL Ventures, along with Ignition Partners and Mindset Ventures.
OUP and Mindser Ventures had backed an $8.5m series A round led by Ignition Partners in 2017.
