The university’s Enterprise Innovation Centre will house spinouts and act as a space for the university’s entrepreneurs to learn and collaborate with academics, researchers and businesses.
Nottingham Trent University is to build an Enterprise Innovation Centre (EIC) to house spinouts and act as a focal point for the university’s entrepreneurial activities, the Business Desk reported on Sunday.
The university has submitted its development plan for the facility to local authority Nottingham City Council for consideration. The block would be situated to the north of Nottingham Trent’s Dryden Building.
In addition to serving as an incubator, EIC would offer a learning environment for student and graduate entrepreneurs that enables them to interact and collaborate with academics, researchers and businesses.
