TU Delft and Imperial-founded genetic data analytics software provider BlueBee has been picked up after raising at least $13.5m of funding.

Genomic sequencing technology provider Illumina acquired Netherlands-based genetic data analytics software provider BlueBee on Wednesday, providing exits to joint founders Delft University of Technology and Imperial College London.
Founded in 2011, BlueBee has developed data analytics software that enables diagnostic and research testing laboratories to process the results of DNA sequencing and conduct business analytics in order to streamline their operational efficiency.
