Michigan State University spin-out BioPhotonics raises $2m in venture backing from angels.

The Michigan Angel Fund (MAF) has invested $2m in laser manufacturer BioPhotonics Solutions. The Michigan State University spin-out, founded in 2003, is commercialising laser technology which improves the usefulness of lasers in surgery, biomedical imaging and other applications.
