The ride hailing service provider has formed Uber Incubator alongside an entrepreneur-in-residence program to facilitate internal and external innovation.

US-based on-demand ride provider Uber has launched an incubator for entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial projects developed by both in-house employees and outside participants.

The company will invest in selected business ideas through the six-month entrepreneur-in-residence scheme.

Participants in Uber Incubator will be able to access Uber’s ecosystem and utilise its platform and resources, and the company will potentially integrate new products and services with its overall offering.
