Two Rocket Internet-incubated grocery startups, ShopWings and Bonativo, have received series A funding from Tengelmann Ventures.
Tengelmann Ventures, the corporate venturing unit of retail group Tengelmann, has backed the respective series A rounds of incubator Rocket Internet’s Germany-baased grocery startups ShopWings and Bonativo.
ShopWings, which launched in October 2014, secured €12m ($13.6m) from Tengelmann as well as Rocket Internet and other, unnamed investors.
Customers in Berlin, Munich and Sydney, Australia can shop on the company’s online platform for groceries at a range of local supermarkets. ShopWings’ employees will then buy and deliver the groceries to the…
