NTT, Symantec and FireEye all contributed to the $25m round for ShieldX, which previously raised $9m in its 2015 series A round.

Telecommunications firm Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Communications (NTT) and cybersecurity companies Symantec and FireEye have participated in a $25m series B round for US-based cloud security provider ShieldX Networks.

Bain Capital Ventures, Aspect Ventures and FireEye founder Ashar Aziz also invested in the round. NTT contributed through its ICT subsidiary, Dimension Data, while Symantec took part through its corporate venturing unit, Symantec Ventures.
