Gradient Ventures returned for the data compliance software developer's series A round having co-led its seed round in October.

Secureframe, a US-based developer of compliance automation technology, received $18m yesterday in a series A round featuring internet technology provider Google’s artificial intelligence fund, Gradient Ventures.

Venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins led the round, which included Base10 Partners, BoxGroup, Village Global, Soma Capital, Origin Capital, Backend Capital and a range of angel investors.
