Rachael Reid

Rachael Reid has left BP Ventures, the CVC arm of UK multinational oil and gas company BP, after a 13-year long tenure with the corporate. 

She joined BP in 2012, working as an engineer and in project delivery in the North Sea. She later moved into project lead and carbon analyst roles and worked on BP’s approach to the energy transition. 

Reid’s next step was into the corporate venture arm, BP Ventures, where she became an investment director in December 2023. 

BP Ventures was launched in 2007 and targets companies working in the energy, industrial and transport sectors.
