R3 Development Fund has backed a range of early-stage blockchain and confidential computing technology developers that leverage the corporate’s Corda and Conclave tools.

R3 Development Fund, a corporate venturing arm of US-based enterprise blockchain software provider R3, has deployed roughly $10m having participated in more than 30 funding rounds for some 20 startups, it said.

Formed in 2019, the fund partners and invests in blockchain and confidential computing technology developers building apps designed to operate on R3’s blockchain platform, Corda, and confidential computing portal, Conclave, investing at pre-seed to series A stage.
