Mobile app development platform Pixate, backed by Walmart Labs, Appcelerator and Grupo.mobi through Kickstarter, raises series A funds from Accel Partners.
Pixate, a US-based mobile app development platform, has raised $3.8m from venture capital firm Accel Partners in a series A round of funding.
The funding will be used to increase the quality of developer support provided by Pixate, to release the Pixate Engine for free, and to make new hires in order to bring out Android and Mac versions of Pixate.
