Roxane Diesing, venture manager - corporate development, innovation and M&A at PwC GmBH WPG, is one of our top 50 Rising Stars in corporate venturing for 2026.

Roxane Diesing is an emerging corporate venturing professional in PwC Germany’s corporate development, innovation and M&A team. Starting in the venture building unit almost three years ago, she is now developing PwC’s LP commitments to venture capital funds and corporate VC investments, while translating those investments into commercial partnerships across PwC’s global network. Her current focus is cybersecurity. With previous deals and projects, she has built a track record in digital tech, decarbonisation and circularity.
Diesing has had a keen interest in entrepreneurship since her days at the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, where she led the student startup club supporting founders from idea to early traction.
Before joining PwC, she worked at BMW, helping the carmaker launch a station-based car-sharing brand in collaboration with a startup in Switzerland. Later, at fintech company Tomorrow Bank, Diesing focused on business development initiatives, such as setting up an impact equity fund.
“I am motivated by pragmatic, trust‑based partnerships that create both strategic and commercial value – for startups and for corporates.”
These experiences opened her eyes to the challenges of getting startups and large companies to collaborate. “It is like two worlds…to bring them together was not as easy. But I am motivated by pragmatic, trust‑based partnerships that create both strategic and commercial value – for startups and for corporates,” she says.
Diesing toyed with launching a startup of her own, but after struggling to find the right technical co-founder, she decided to take a role with PwC.
Diesing is also actively engaged in the startup ecosystem as a mentor at incubator and accelerator programme XPRENEURS, and as an ambassador for Climate Mosaic, a community for climate tech entrepreneurs from underrepresented backgrounds. She is also a certified board and supervisory board member and regularly contributes to thought leadership in venture capital and sustainability.

The Rising Stars are early-career corporate venture professionals who are making an outstanding contribution to their teams and the industry.
