Antonio Chen Tchi Hong, investment associate at Sopra Steria Ventures, is one of our top 50 Rising Stars in corporate venturing for 2026.

Antonio Chen joined Sopra Steria Ventures two years ago, helping build the investment arm from the ground up for the European technology consulting company.
Chen began his career at Accenture Ventures, before moving to the entrepreneurial side as a CxO/founder’s associate for several startups. He now brings that operator‑investor hybrid perspective to Sopra Steria Ventures. His investment focus spans AI/ML, quantum technologies, infrastructure software, developer tools, cybersecurity, defence and space, and Industry 4.0.
Chen describes the venture arm as a strategic lever for Sopra Steria’s technology consulting business, helping the firm anticipate emerging technology shifts, build early relationships with cutting‑edge solution providers and drive business growth.
“Every investment is designed to help us better serve our clients. The ambition is to “co‑design offerings” with portfolio companies, integrating cutting‑edge products into Sopra Steria’s service lines.”
“As a consulting and technology firm, we need to access and fully understand next‑generation technologies. Every investment is designed to help us better serve our clients,” he says. The ambition is to “co‑design offerings” with portfolio companies, integrating cutting‑edge products into Sopra Steria’s service lines.
Sopra Steria Ventures typically invests in enterprise and government-focused companies between seed and series B, with ticket sizes ranging from €250,000 to €1.5m. The team invests from the corporate balance sheet and has made 10 investments to date, alongside LP commitments in seven VC funds.
Chen is interested in emerging fields such as AI agents, as well as drone swarms.
“As with many technologies initially developed for defense, swarm technology could follow a similar path, with potential applications in industries such as manufacturing, where AI‑powered robotic systems can play an increasing role. We are looking for bold founders building companies that will define how enterprises and governments operate over the next decade,” he says.

The Rising Stars are early-career corporate venture professionals who are making an outstanding contribution to their teams and the industry.
