Orderbird, an iPad point of sale system, has received $10m in series B funding from payment transaction company Concarnis and undisclosed private investors.
Germany-based iPad software provider Orderbird has raised $10m in series B funding led by ConCardis, a cashless payments joint venture formed by German banks.
Orderbird provides point of sales software for the hospitality sector and has developed its own mobile payment system, ConCardis OptiPay.
The capital raised in the round, which also featured undisclosed private investors and earlier backers, will be used for product development and for further expansion across Europe.
