Medical technology developer Onkos Surgical has raised $17.6m from investors including 3D printing equipment provider 3D Systems.
3D printer manufacturer 3D Systems has taken part in a $17.6m series B round for Onkos Surgical, a US-based medical technology producer focused on surgical oncology.
The round was led by venture capital firm Canaan Partners and included 1315 Capital, the VC firm that led a series A round of undisclosed size for Onkos in 2015. 3D Systems’ participation was not disclosed at the time but the corporate was listed as a returning investor in the latest press release.
