Oncology Analytics compiles $7.5m round

Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association led the oncology management company's funding round through its corporate venturing affiliate.

BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, the corporate venturing arm of health insurance association Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, has led a $7.5m round for US-based chemotherapy support services provider Oncology Analytics.

Venture capital firm Sandbox Industries also participated in the round, through its Sandbox Advantage Fund.

Founded in 2015 by Marc Fishman, Oncology Analytics has built a platform that gives oncology care providers real-time expertise that can help them make informed decisions about giving quality care without unnecessary expense.
