Netatmo, a France-based consumer electronics company, has raised €4.5m ($6m) from a consortium including multi-corporate-backed venture capital firm Iris Capital.

Alongside Iris Capital, which is backed by local phone operator France Telecom’s Orange subsidiary, are French state-backed FSN PME and angel investor Pascal Cagni, a non-executive director of Vivendi and Kingfisher.

Netatmo provides a personal weather station with air quality sensors in 105 countries, allowing users to track indoor and outdoor environmental elements and wirelessly transmits data…
