Legend Star-backed online security software provider Mysec secured $15.5m in a round co-led by Hillhouse Capital and Jiangmen Ventures.

Mysec, a China-based verification software provider backed by conglomerate Legend Holdings, has raised RMB100m ($15.5m) in series B funding, DealStreetAsia reported yesterday.

The round was led by hedge fund manager Hillhouse Capital and Jiangmen Ventures, the investment firm formed by ex-members of corporate venturing unit Microsoft Ventures’ China team. They were joined by venture capital firm Bluerun Ventures.
