Employees of the US-based social network will be given the opportunity to work on new ideas for up to three months.

US-based social network LinkedIn has set up an incubator to allow employees up to three months “to turn their ideas into reality”.

The unit has been branded [in]cubator, in a play on words on LinkedIn’s name.

Kevin Scott, senior vice president of engineering at LinkedIn, said in a blog post: “Once a quarter, any LinkedIn employee can come up with an idea, put together a team, and pitch their project to the executive staff.”
