The Bloomberg-backed web and app communication platform has now raised $22m after a round that valued it at about $60m.
Layer, a US-based company that provides a communications platform for mobile and web apps, has raised $14.5m in series A funding, TechCrunch reported.
The series A round saw participation from Homebrew, AME Cloud Ventures, CrunchFund and Fuel Capital, and Layer’s post-money valuation was reportedly in the mid-$60m range.
Layer allows app developers to, through the insertion of fewer than 10 lines of code, add the ability for their users to send text, voice and video messages and even share files.…
