Serial entrepreneur Kevin Rose is scaling back his time at Google Ventures to launch a new company, North Technologies.

Kevin Rose is to cut back the hours spent in his position as a general partner at Google Ventures, Google’s corporate venturing unit, in order to help develop a new start-up called North Technologies, TechCrunch reported on Friday.

Rose joined Google in early 2012 after it acquired his mobile development lab Milk for $15m, and initially worked at the company’s social network, Google+, before moving to Google Ventures in May that year.
