Search engine provider Baidu co-led the restaurant management software company's $10.7m series B round, raised as it prepares to expand to other industries.
Keru Cloud, a China-based software-as-a-service provider targeting restaurants, has raised RMB 66m ($10.7m) in a series B round co-led by search engine operator Baidu, 36Kr reported on Friday.
Tianxing Capital co-led the round, while Fangjinglin Investment and Kaixing Capital also participated. Baidu previously took part in a $4.5m series A round for Keru in April 2014.
Keru has developed software that enables restaurants to manage reservations, keep track of a queue, take orders and maintain customer loyalty programmes.
