US-based bank JPMorgan Chase has invested $25m to take a stake in Code Advisors, a financial advisory frim, and its chief executive of investment banking Jes Staley has joined the firm’s operating committee as a non-voting observer.

Staley said: "Identifying and supporting great ideas early in their development is particularly important in the technology space. Code continues to uniquely identify next generation companies, and together we are excited to help those entrepreneurs grow and expand their businesses."
