France-based Iris Capital, backed by Orange and Publicis, has entered into a partnership with Germany-based Capnamic Ventures for early-stage investments in German digital economy start-ups.
Iris Capital and Capnamic Ventures, a spin-off from DuMont Shauberg media group, will co-invest in German digital economy start-ups. Iris’ OP Ventures Early Stage will invest alongside Capnamic’s newly launched Capnamic Ventures Fund. The cooperation may extend to later stage investments in Germany.
Iris Capital partner, Sophie Dingreville, will now join the investment committee of Capnamic Ventures. Capnamic currently holds 20 portfolio companies.
