Hand sanitation monitoring system provider SwipeSense has secured $10.6m to expand its team and accelerate product development.

SwipeSense, a US-based hand hygiene monitoring technology developer backed by health insurance provider Blue Cross Blue Shield, has secured $10.6m in series B2 funding.

Venture capital firm Eclipse Ventures led the round, which included Sandbox Industries, the VC firm that partners Blue Cross Blue Shield’s corporate venturing unit, BlueCross BlueShield Venture Partners, as well as undisclosed other investors.
